Restrict Google Apps user based on IP Address
gLogin one of CloudCodes leading product which already had more than 100 installation after it has been launched has one of its powerful feature which allows administrator to restrict users to access their Google Apps account from a particular IP Address.
The article describes how gLogin can be use d for restricting users to use Google Apps from a particular IP address. Here IP address refers to public IP address i.e. WAN IP. It cannot be used to restrict the users based on LAN or internal IP address.

Restriction Policy
gLogin allows administrator to create multiple policies to restrict users based on various constraint as per their organization policy.
The policy provides the following
- Valid Always: Enabling it ensure the policy is enabled always.
- Enabling the policy for a particular time interval. For e.g. restricting the IP address for interns can be configured for the interval of 2 months.
- Add user and associated IP address.
- Admin can also import the CSV having the list of users and set of allowed IP address.
The administrator can upload the CSV for importing the list of users and associated IP address
